I shot Leslie Bilderbacks Salt cookbook and it has finally come out! It’s my favorite book I’ve done with Leslie so far. Salt is such an inherently beautiful ingredient, such a fun project.
Yay! It’s here! As some of you know food stylist / recipe developer Jenny Park and I have a food blog together called Spoon Fork Bacon. We recently came out with our third book The Perfect Egg. This book is our baby, and we are so happy to finally be able to share it with you all. We were lucky enough to have Ten Speed publish this book, and give us a lot of creative freedom. I choose to have a visual theme carry throughout this book, one that I thought would lend itself to our photos. I took inspiration from the egg itself, and used clean white and cream props, letting the food be the pop of color in each image. Jenny and I tried to organize the book in a helpful and meaningful way, and give recipes that lend themselves to experimentation and variations. I am really really proud of this book.
